How to Order
Step 1. Choosing a section
Use the menu on the left of the page to choose the shop section you wish to browse. Clicking on any of the main categories (white) will reveal the sub categories within that section (black).
Step 2. Selecting a product to view
After clicking on one of the sub categories from the menu, you will be presented with a list of products available within that section. Clicking on any of the thumbnail images will take you to the details page for that product. If you do not see any products, which you are interested in you can continue to use the menu to browse between sections.
Step 3. Product details/Add to Cart
You should now see a page with a full description of the product, the product code, price and a more detailed image. If you decide you wish to purchase the product select the options you require (where applicable) and click on to add the product to your shopping cart.
If you are ordering a made to measure outfit, such as a kilt, you will require to fill in your measurements before you can add the item to your cart. Clicking on will open a seperate browser window, which explains the measurement process and prompts you to fill in the relevant details. Once you have filled in the details, click on "submit", which will send your measurements to Irish Kilts and the pop up window will close. You should now see the familiar "Add to Cart" button has appeared in place of "Submit sizes". You must proceed with the order as normal and add the item to your cart and complete check out to place your order.
Step 4. Looking in your Cart
After clicking on "Add to Cart" you will be taken to your shopping cart, which will detail all the items you have added, along with the total price for the order. You can adjust the quantities you require of any item by clicking the small + and - buttons next to the quantity.
You can continue to add products to your cart in the same way until you are happy that you have everything you require. To return to your shopping cart at any point you can click on the view cart button at the top of the page.
Once you are happy that your order is complete click on to proceed to the next stage.
Step 5. Entering your details
Enter your billing, shipping and payment details in the relevant form boxes to complete your order. Always check for the padlock in the bottom right of your screen before placing your order. The Scottishkilts.net site is protected by SSL encryption. Please make sure your details are 100% correct before completing the transaction.
That's it... you should now have successfully completed your order - wasn't that easy!!!!
