Like Rosslyn Chapel this church, which was built and owned by the medieval Order of the Knights Templar featured in the novel: The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. This guide book was originally published in 1907 and is the most comprehensive description of the church, its contents and history which is easily available. But this is more than just a guide book. It contains, for example, a history of the Knights Templar together with engravings of the Templar tombstones in the church.
